Meteori is a weather app. It only requests your browser location after you choose to use current location.
Data used for weather
When you select a city or use current location, Meteori sends coordinates to its weather API to fetch forecasts from Deutscher Wetterdienst, MET Norway, and OpenStreetMap/Nominatim for reverse geocoding when needed.
City search
City search requests are sent from your browser to Open-Meteo geocoding so matching places can be shown.
Local storage
Meteori may store your last selected location, theme, install state, and short-lived popular-city weather cache in your browser. This keeps the app fast and lets it reopen to your previous city.
No account tracking
Meteori currently has no user accounts, no payment flow, and no advertising profile. The app does not need your name or email address.
Infrastructure
The production app is hosted on Vercel. Standard server logs may be processed by hosting and infrastructure providers for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
